Welcome to the Garden Club of Niagara
The Garden Club of Niagara has a unique relationship with the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. We are able to hold our meetings in their building on the Niagara River Parkway with the beautifully maintained gardens within sight. We fund two scholarships each year to deserving School of Horticulture students. A highlight each year for our club has been to decorate the lovely McFarland House for the Rotary House tour. McFarland House, restored by the Niagara Parks Commission in 1959, portrays life in Niagara in the early nineteenth century. Our members also maintain the kitchen garden in front of the house during the summer. Working on these projects gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and share common interests.
